| | We're inviting all user groups - SharePoint, SQL, .NET, Project, etc. - to be a part of SharePoint Saturday - The Conference.
We can work together using social media and other tools to get the word out - and make this conference amazing! We're got the venue, the rooms, and the food - we need you to bring your passion and sense of fun - and in return, you're be able to recruit members and let people know the fantastic benefits that your group provides.
As an added bonus, any user group that gets involved will get access to pre-registration on Thursday night, August 11, 2011 - and any volunteers that help out will get free registration -

If we have enough user groups involved, we'll be holding a "SharePoint Survivor" contest - the user group with the most participation, unique ideas, etc. will be the champion.

Ok, maybe we're over-exaggerating a bit - but we do promise this will be a community gathering to be remembered - A few spoilers:
- The event will last 3 days and includes a Friday Night World of SharePoint attendee party from 6 pm - 11 pm (do we have your attention yet?) - Make sure to bring your mobile smartphone - we're going to use it - Yes, we've solved the problem of the lunch lines...we're serving 3 breakfasts and 3 lunches PLUS the attendee party - so we WILL be prepared
All this for a registration fee of only $39 for early birds and $59 for regular registrations and walk-ins.
So where do you sign up? Good question! We'll be opening the registration site on Monday, May 16, 2011.
But wait - there's more - if you act now:We're looking for about 75 people to help us onsite. If you're willing to volunteer for 4 hours on either Friday or Saturday, we'll waive the registration fee. (You also get a really cool orange polo shirt as an extra bonus)
